How to Save Heirloom Tomato Seeds
A tomato can be saved true to type the following year, if it hasn't crossed with another variety. In the backyard 10-50 feet away will suffice.
1. Squeeze out the seed and jelly from the inside of a fresh tomato with no disease
2. fill a cup with water covering the seeds.
3. after two days drain the mold down your sink drain, and rinse the seeds clean in fresh water. lay them out to dry for a few days on a paper plate or towel.
How to save pumpkin seeds for planting
Pumpkin seeds need to ferment like tomato seeds and remember they cross easily with other varieties.
